The Riverbend Concert Series is excited to welcome a co-headlining double bill featuring John Floridis + Jennifer Slayden and Tom Catmull + Travis Yost to the stage on Sunday, August 30th in beautiful Bigfork, Montana.
John Floridis, a Missoula-based guitarist, singer-songwriter, and longtime host of Montana Public Radio's Musician's Spotlight, has spent decades performing bluesy, folk-rock vocal tunes and adventurous acoustic guitar compositions across the region, sharing stages with artists like Shawn Colvin, Emmylou Harris, and Bruce Cockburn. He's joined by cellist Jennifer Slayden, a 40-year veteran of the Montana music scene whose rich, textured playing has graced performances with the Missoula, Helena, and Billings Symphonies. Together they bring warm, intimate arrangements built on heartfelt songwriting and seasoned musicianship.
Sharing the bill are Tom Catmull and Travis Yost, two pillars of the Missoula music community with decades of history performing together. Catmull, a perennial "Best Musician" honoree in the Missoula Independent's Best Of issue, is known for his wry storytelling, catchy melodies, and unmistakable Texas tenor. Yost, also known by his solo moniker "Love is a Dog from Nebraska," is a versatile multi-instrumentalist, producer, and longtime collaborator of Catmull's, lending his bass, songwriting, and harmony vocals to a sound that blends roots, pop, and Americana.
Together, these two acts promise an evening of rich harmonies, clever songwriting, and genuine Montana musical storytelling, moving between tender acoustic moments and full, lively arrangements.
Bring your lawn chairs, gather your friends and family, and enjoy a memorable evening of live music along the river at the Riverbend Concert Series on Sunday, August 30th.
