Bigfork, Montana's Original Summer Concert Series

For almost 50 years, Riverbend Concerts has brought live music to the heart of Bigfork, Montana. Every Sunday evening from late June through August, locals and visitors gather at Sliter's Memorial Park — just steps from downtown Bigfork's charming single-lane bridge — for affordable outdoor concerts featuring Montana's best local bands and musicians.

Our Story

Riverbend Concerts has been a Bigfork summer tradition for nearly five decades, long before it had an official name. What started as a community gathering to enjoy live music on Sunday evenings grew, year after year, into one of the longest-running summer concert series in Northwest Montana.

In 2019, that tradition was formalized into the Riverbend Concert Association, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Formalizing the organization allowed it to build a stronger foundation for the future — securing sponsorships, recruiting volunteers, and ensuring that Bigfork's concert series could continue for another 50 years and beyond.

Today, Riverbend Concerts is run entirely by local volunteers and sustained by community sponsors who believe in keeping live music affordable and accessible for everyone in the Flathead Valley.

What We Do

Every summer, Riverbend Concerts presents 10 concerts over 10 weeks — one live show every Sunday night, rain or shine, at Sliter's Memorial Park in downtown Bigfork.

  • When: Sundays, 7:00 PM, late June through late August

  • Where: Sliter's Memorial Park, 291 Bridge Street, Bigfork, MT 59911

  • Cost: $5 admission for ages 13 and up; free for kids 12 and under. Season passes covering all 10 concerts are available for $30

  • Who it's for: All ages — bring a chair, a blanket, and a picnic, and enjoy a night of live music with the whole family

Each week's lineup features local and regional artists spanning genres from Americana and folk to rock, reggae, swing, and country — showcasing the depth of musical talent in the Flathead Valley.

Our Mission

Riverbend Concerts exists to make live music an affordable, welcoming, and unifying part of summer in Bigfork. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, every dollar raised — from admission, sponsorships, and donations — goes directly toward paying local musicians and covering production costs, so ticket prices can stay low and the series can keep running for years to come.

We believe small towns deserve great live music, and that a Sunday night concert by the river is one of the simplest, best ways to bring neighbors and visitors together.
